Ready for anything

At Hawk Logistics, we’re proud of our safety compliance. It’s why we invest in the best equipment, undergo regular preventative maintenance, and provide industry-leading training.

This proactive safety approach means we’re constantly improving the quality of our workplace and the employee experience. After all, everyone deserves to go home safe each day.

We exist to challenge our industry’s status quo. To show that there’s a more human-centred and customer-focused way to provide logistic solutions.

Drivers you can rely on

We have great relationships with our drivers. Open communication means they’re always ready to handle any situation, on or off the road.

All our drivers undertake a 3-day induction program before they start with us, which includes a driving assessment, theory assessment and practical training. And we always conduct thorough background checks to ensure drivers are suitably qualified for the role.

The onboarding process

• 3-day driver induction program
• In-cab assessments and buddy drive onboard
• Medical and police pre-employment checks
• Driver infringement history check
• Yearly licence checks for current employees
• Customer and site specific induction
• Weekly toolbox talks with new safety focus

Onboarding that drives productivity

Our thorough induction program means our drivers are safe, compliant and have all the support they need from the moment they join.

Training that delivers

Our industry is always changing. We provide ongoing training and development to ensure all our drivers are at the top of their game.

Auditing that promises credibility

Our drivers are thoroughly audited on a regular basis to make sure they’re compliant with National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVL) and company policies.

Accreditations that affirm trust

We’re accredited with the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) for Mass Management and Fatigue Management.

Whether it’s keeping drivers updated with new regulations, or installing new technology to help look after their wellbeing – we make sure our skilled drivers are cared for, motivated and engaged.

Safety is our superpower

We’re an industry leader when it comes to safety and compliance. We are always looking at new ways we can incorporate technology into our fleets to boost safety, as well as efficiency.

Some features in our fleet include:

Gearbox allows drivers to simply and easily conduct vehicle checks and report faults or issues for immediate repair

Navman GPS provides real-time tracking, alerts and reporting

Guardian by Seeing Machines uses face- and gaze-tracking algorithms to check for fatigue or distraction, and activates audio and vibration alarms when activated

Striving for excellence

All our drivers are thoroughly audited on a regular basis to ensure they’re compliant with NHVL and company policies. We keep extensive records for auditing purposes, and use Log Checker to cross check driver work diary pages.

• Internal and external auditing with regulatory bodies
• We’re NHVR, HACCP, AMCAS accredited and annually audited
• Use Log Checker on 100% of loads completed
• D&A testing (both random and causal)
• Real-time inputs with Logmaster Electronic Work Diary
